West Lindsey District Council Community Sports Grant

Grants are awarded for new equipment, improvements to facilities, special projects and also general improvements to developing your club. Past grants have included new football goals, archery equipment and part coaching funds, grass root development, tennis nets, parish council youth equipment, Judo mats and rowing boats.

Hereford City Council is the parish authority for the City of Hereford. To ensure the needs of the City are met, the Council has set up a Community Grants Fund to assist Community Projects within the City, for projects which assist and benefit the Community in a variety of ways. Community grants are offered to Charity’s, Organisations, Community Groups and Associations for projects within the City parish boundaries however they are not available to individuals. £7.3 million in funding from the Department for Education

Merton Council has secured an extra £7.3 million in funding from the Department for Education to help with its school expansion plans to accommodate the 39% increase in births in the borough. 

The extra money, in addition to the original £7 million school building grant for 2012-13, brings the total extra government funding for school building to £14.3 million.
