If you are a member of a self help group and need to become a fundraising all-rounder then this is the course for you! This popular six week course can be completed in just four hours a week. You'll be part of an online classroom led by a fundraising expert, learning:
- 5 key fundraising techniques; trusts, lottery, legacy, community & corporate fundraising
- How to raise your profile and gain media support
The course has been developed for individuals who are likely to shoulder the responsibility for raising funds while doing many other things. It will help you plan your projects future fundraising needs and promote your work through developing media and press relations.

Assessment and Accreditation
Certification from the Open College Network requires completion of three online worksheets and a learner diary. All assignments are submitted via the internet. Feedback is given to you in the same way, so you receive speedy and secure feedback on your learning. All assignments are designed to help you learn and apply concepts from the course to your own practice. The learner diary gives you the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and skills you have developed during the course.
