Level 3 Funding Training for Volunteers and Charity Fundraisers
We offer a range of accredited fundraising courses covering the techniques for successful fundraising. You have a choice between our six week Certificate in Fundraising Skills (3 Open College Units) or three week bite size courses targeting particular fundraising techniques (1 Open College Unit each).
The Certificate in Fundraising Skills
If you want to become a fundraising all rounder the Certificate in Fundraising Skills covers successful grants research, bid writing and funding strategy. This popular six week course can be completed in just four hours a week. You'll be part of an online classroom led by a fundraising expert, learning:
- How and where to apply for funds
- How to plan your fundraising efforts and build in success
- Prepare quality fundraising literature and make a case for funding
Bite-Size Courses
If you want to expand your fundraising knowledge further then our bite-size courses would be perfect. As with the Certificate, you'll be taught by a fundraising expert and will come away with materials you can use straight away in your organisation. Each 3-week course targets a different technique:
- Statutory and Lottery Funding
- Trust and Foundation Funding
- Funding Strategy
- Creative Bid Writing
- Corporate Giving & Securing Sponsorship
- Maximising Income from Merchandise & Trading
- Community Fundraising and Events
- Legacy Fundraising
Bite Size or Certificate? The Certificate in Fundraising Skills is made up of the following three bite size courses, offered as a 6 week e-learning course; Funding Strategy, Creative Bid Writing and Trust and Foundation Funding.

Courses run throughout the year. Click here to see a list of course dates and fees. You can register now online for any of our courses. We will then send you an invoice, and when payment is received you will be enrolled on your chosen course.
