Fundraising Skills Ltd

Fundraising Skills Ltd is an online training organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We work with Tutors, IT Specialists and External Moderators to ensure schools, charities and community groups get the right combination of accredited training, tutor expertise and flexibility. All our courses are accredited by the Open College Network.

We have trained and accredited over 1000 schools and community groups across the UK since 1999. See the testimonials page for some of their comments.

The Fundraising Skills office is open 9.30am -- 4.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
Please note that the office is closed on Wednesdays but we endeavour to respond to all messages within 24 hours.

With ten years experience in grants assessment, Louise was one of the original National Lottery assessors in the mid nineties. She has assessed and distributed funds for education for many public and charitable bodies. A qualified trainer with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and a member of the Institute of Fundraising,

Jan Williams, Grantsmanship Tutor

An independent fundraiser for over five years, with a long career in Sales and Marketing, Jan has raised over £750,000 primarily from grant making trusts for a diverse list of clients including St John Ambulance, HMS Trincomalee, Polam Hall School and a local MS Society.

Anne Daly, Schools Tutor

A highly experienced business and investment professional, now applying those skills to the education and charity sector. Specialising in business planning for statutory grant applications (particularly neighbourhood nurseries), Anne has also set up and managed large Out of School Clubs. She is an active community fundraiser and has helped over 50 local groups raise funds.

David Poppitt, Healthcare Tutor

With 20 years experience managing campaigns for hospitals, health authorities and charities, including Derian House Children’s Hospice, South Manchester Health Authority, MS support Group, Age Concern, British Red Cross, and Clatterbridge NHS Trust, David raised over £4million as Appeals Director for the Christie Hospital. David specialises in business partnerships and legacy fundraising. He is an active member of the Institute of Fundraising and the Institute of Development Professionals in Education.
