Fundraising Skills UK Ltd
Fundraising Skills is an e-learning training organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne established in 2002. We work with Tutors, IT Specialists and External Moderators to ensure schools, sports clubs, charities and community groups get the right combination of accredited training, tutor expertise and flexibility. All our courses are accredited by the NCFE.

Team Members
Louise Germaney, Course Director
Following a degree in Sports Development and ten years experience in grants assessment, Louise was one of the original National Lottery assessors in the mid nineties. She has assessed and distributed funds for education for many public and charitable bodies. A qualified trainer with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and a member of the Institute of Fundraising
David Poppitt, Tutor
With over 20 years experience in managing campaigns for health and educational organisations, David raised over £4million as Appeals Director for the Christie Hospital. As Chairman of Broughton Park rugby club he has created a youth development charity. With experience as Development Director at Bolton School and as a Consultant, he is well known in the field of income generation for schools featuring in a number of Teacher TV programmes on fundraising. David is the author of the best selling "The School Fundraiser" and an active member of the Institute of Fundraising and a founder member of the Institute of Development Professionals in Education.
RMS Sports Consultants
Produced the Certificate in Sports Funding in association with Fundraising Skills. They specialise in project development within the sports sector. Specific areas of work include funding applications, bespoke workshops, strategies, development plans, studies and reviews. In 3 years RMS has raised £1.5million to support various sports related projects. RMS prides itself on producing high quality and detailed work which will help clients move forward and achieve results.

Victoria Ireland, Tutor
Victoria has a strong fundraising background gained during 12 years in the not-for-profit sector. A senior fundraiser at British Waterways and HelpAge International, Victoria now specialises in funding strategies, capital appeals, trust and institutional fundraising and grants management. As an assessor for the Big Lottery Fund and Children in Need she also understands the grant making perspective. She enjoys training and mentoring, helping others develop their fundraising capacity and drawing on her wide experience.
Tenika Ah-Wan, Tutor
Tenika has worked in the charity sector as a fundraising trainer for over 10 years As Director for the Level Ten Arts development agency and Head of Fundraising with BTEG, she managed a Fundraising Training Project to train 75 BME organisations to achieve their Institute of Fundraising Certificate. Tenika has worked with a range of large and small charities from arts, faith and BME organisations. She lectures on an International Masterclass programme providing training to European fundraisers and is a regular speaker at Third sector conferences; including the Institute of Fundraising and the Directory of Social Change annual conventions.
Ellouise James, Course Administrator
Ellouise is a highly experienced administrator managing accreditation procedures and student enrolment at Fundraising Skills. Having completed FE training in Business and Admin, she worked as a Conveyancing Secretary and for the NHS as an Administration Officer and PA. Ellouise is also a Counsellor and as a hobby has her own pet website.
